Next time you are hungover on a Sunday and looking for food before 11am, slide to Kadok's for some silogs. They got the gospel music for the vibes, free water, parking galore. They have various silogs on the menu of course BUT the real hack is that you can order whatever other stuff they have and make it a silog. Example, my man ordered the bangus sisig and just added garlic rice and egg. The possibilities are endless. Also - just putting it out there - the best thing they have here is the Arroz Caldo in my opinion. Just take a gander at a photo of it, trust me.

No frills Filipino food. While they have several things on the menu, they specialize on certain items. So lets cut to the chase - get the sisig bangus. Bangin'! Siopao is okay. Big, but definitely needs to sauce it comes with to kick up the flavor.

Go-to spot for ordering all our favorite Filipino dishes. Food is consistently good. Party trays available for catering. What we ordered: + Walastik pork bbq - bbq pork on a stick, except they ran out of sticks so just got the pork. No matter, still tender and delicious. Has a slightly sweet flavor. + Pancit Bihon - rice noodle with lots of meats and veggies. + Lumpia - crispy egg rolls. Could eat these all day. + Empanadas (chicken & beef) - these are a good size and quite filling

This is always my go-to spot to order a large catering order of Shanghai lumpia! Price is pretty reasonable for a large amount. They're also pretty quick with getting the order ready & you can usually order it the day of! I also really like the fried bangus, longinsa & pancit here! Yum!!

Slow service. Excellent food... made it all worthwhile We found this small, very modest Filipino restaurant located in St Francis Square Shopping Center in Daly City. It sits in the same shopping plaza where the now closed Pacific Supermarket once stood. The Bay Area has some of the best Filipino cuisines around and when I'm in the Yay Area we make it a point to get our Filipino food fix. We ordered the Lechon Kawali Silog... omgoodness! Ang sarap!!! so bad for me (I just had my cholesterol checked and it's worse than before! ugh!) ... yet so irresistibly good! First bite into that crispy fried pork belly with garlic rice & egg and I was in heaven... BUT I should be careful because too much of that deliciousness will really put me in heaven. Okay, 'nuff of that before I start drooling. Hubby and I shared a halo-halo (Tagalog for "mix-mix"). Now, know that not all halo-halos are created equal. This dessert was delicious! Topped with the Ube ice cream and it made it very good. And I don't even like Ube! For those not in the know, "halo halo" is a popular cold dessert in the Philippines made up of crushed ice, evaporated milk or coconut milk, and various ingredients... mmm! I also ordered each a Siopao Asado and the Fried Special Siopao... we had these packed to go since we got so full from the Lechon Kawali Silog... not for long, though, because as soon as we hit the Bay Bridge (which was about an hour and 15-mins into our drive heading back to Sac) we tore into that Siopao Asado. So freshly steamed and generous on the beef. Excellent! As far as the other siopao though, I never saw it again once I laid the package on the kitchen counter it was gone. One of our kids ate it. The prices were reasonable. It took awhile to get our order but after tasting the food we deemed it was worth the wait. Review #2757

After searching for a Filipino restaurant nearby, we found Kadok's! It was clean and the employees were nice. I really enjoyed the food here. Yes, Filipino food might not be healthy, but it sure makes me happy and full! All of their food reminded me of my mother's cooking. Their palabok is delicious! Noodles were soft and hot. Their plates come with garlic fried rice too! Yummy in my tummy.

5 stars for the siapao asado! I don't know if any of y'all remember mama luk but that was my go to place for siapao and no one could ever compare! Unfortunately they have shut down and I've been wandering aimlessly for years trying to find siapao that compares and I've finally found it here at Kadok's. After a beach day at Pacifica, I was looking for some takeout and came across Kadoks. I ordered a few of the items from the silog series, pansit Malabon and siapao. Honestly, I would pass on the silog series and the pansit was okay. But I'll definitely drive an hour over here just for the siapao! They come out hot and are generous with their meat fillings. Also side note they offer a deep fried version of the siapao but I decided to keep it classic. If you're ever craving siapao, check this spot outs there's usually a long line so go ahead and use their online order feature!

Kadok's has a fast food format where you order at the counter and then it's packed to go or you pick it up and bring it to your table. (Obviously, during the Covid-19 restrictions, it's take-out only.) They have a good selection on their menu and I've only ordered a few, but with what I've had over several visits, they know what they're doing. They also seem to do orders for large groups as I see people cart away large trays whenever I'm there. These folks are reliable in providing good Filipino food. I give them two thumbs up.
